Going Beyond Education

The CAPG Conference is designed for networking as well as education. It offers a wide range of opportunities to make new friends and participate in social activities.

The CAPG Golf Tournament (Wednesday)
This 144-player tournament is a popular warm-up for the Conference and open on a first-come-first-served basis to all Conference registrants regardless of skill. Sign up as a foursome, a twosome or an individual, and enjoy a little friendly competition on the resort's beautiful Valley Golf Course. Cart, box lunch and prizes included in the fee, and early registration recommended.

CAPG's Famous Exhibit Fair and Strolling Dinner (Thursday evening)
Our Thursday night exhibiting event combines a Cinco de Mayo-themed party with tradeshow exhibits from our many Sponsors and Exhibitors. Meet with friends and colleagues, sample the fare at fabulous food stations, and learn about new produts and services. Babysitting is available, and children and teens are encouraged to attend the Youth or Teen Extravaganzas planned especially for them.

Morning Fitness Program (Friday)
Guaranteed to get participants energized with a 60-minute workout on the beautiful grounds of the Desert Springs JW Marriott.

Luncheon with Speaker (Friday)
For attendees and (registered) adult guests.

Our Farewell Dinner Dance Extravaganza (Friday evening)
Our farewell gala event starts with a cocktail hour at 6:30 p.m., followed by dinner, dancing and entertainment by the popular Dwight Kennedy Band. Wear your dancing shoes and join the fun. Dress to impress!

Tennis Warm-Up Clinic and Event (Saturday)
Come join us for an interchanging-partner, round-robin event open to players of all levels. No partner is required; players will be paired at the event. Warm-up clinic at 7 a.m., play at 8 a.m.
