CAPG Members, Friends and Associates:
It is my great pleasure to invite you to the 2010 CAPG Healthcare Conference, an event that has been designed to help you and your organization meet the challenges of this extraordinary time. Registration is now open! Please register online.
1,200 attendees gathered in 2009 for this comprehensive healthcare event. For 2010, we spotlight the topics and speakers at the forefront of today's headlines and debate regarding the world of healthcare today. Including such dynamic industry topics as the politics of health, ACO's, quality care and a glimpse into our future.
Dr. Atul Gawande, a nationally know surgeon, author and former senior health policy advisor in the Clinton administration, returns to CAPG to start things off at our Opening General Session.
Dr. Elliott S. Fisher, Dartmouth Institute for Health Care Policy and Clinical Practice and a major voice of Accountable Care Organizations. His work demonstrated that higher spending regions and health systems do not achieve better outcomes or quality. He will speak at a rare west coast appearance in General Session II.
Healthcare Reform Panel of experts will discuss the state of healthcare reform as it exists at the time of the Conference.
All three General Sessions, along with an expanded number of educational breakout sessions, will excite us, inspire us, and provoke thoughtful discussions on today's critical issues.
There will be many opportunities to network, share ideas and enjoy the company of colleagues. Don’t miss our Friday night Exhibit Fair and Strolling Dinner, where members, guests, Sponsors and Exhibitors all get to know each other. These Sponsors and Exhibitors make our Conference possible, and I hope you’ll stop by and thank them.
The primary purpose of the CAPG healthcare Conference is education--for physicians, management and key staff members. Don't miss this once a year opportunity to collaborate with your peers. For more details, please visit our Conference website.
The Board of Directors and I look forward to seeing you May 13–16 in Palm Desert.
Sincerely,

Donald H. Crane
