Frequently Asked Questions

Q:  What are CAPG's major goals over the next 2-3 years?
A:  Our primary goal is to advance the organized delivery model in California. We have made significant progress, but it will remain the key initiative for us over the next few years. Another critical goal for us is to increase the visibility and credibility of CAPG among legislators, employers and ultimately consumers. Finally, for CAPG to be strong, we need a dedicated force behind us, so increasing our membership will be an ongoing goal.
Q:  What does CAPG perceive as the major difficulties facing California's health care system?
A:  Increasing costs associated with fragmented, disorganized care.
Q:  What role, if any, does an individual CAPG member play in moving this agenda forward?
A:  Increased coordination, integration and accountability.
Q:  How are members made aware of CAPG's needs, activities and/or accomplishments?
A:  Website, monthly newsletter and bulletins.
